The World Is a Room
the story of
The World Is A Room
I haven't always known what I wanted, but I've always known what I didn't want: to stay in one place.
Furniture is the most sedentary thing. We collect what allows us to live in our homes and feel at home there. We personalize a room to feel attached to it, and before we realize it, we depend on it because it becomes a part of us. We think we gain experiences, but we only end up dividing ourselves to belong to the past.
I inhabit my travels. The world is my home, and it has no furniture.
"The World is a Room" is a contemporary photographic series blending the sedentary and the transient. It questions our attachment to belongings and explores the idea of making the world our home. Through symbolic imagery, it reflects on the intersection of movement and stillness, inviting viewers to reconsider how we inhabit spaces and the meaning of home.
